Meet Higgins! He’s a 3 year old basset hound with a tri-color coat and long luxurious ears. He’s new to the rescue and he’s an absolute sweet pea.
Higgins is house trained, know commands, and walks well on a leash. He is good with adults, children, other dogs, and cats. We aren’t sure he’s been crate trained.
Higgins is new here so we’re getting to know him and his needs. He’s not medically ready for adoption just yet, but when he is we will have more information about him.

At the moment, Higgins is under our care, however AHRF is ready to support and accept more hounds in need of rescue. We believe every hound deserves a second chance at love and a happy life.
