Meet Stella Rose, affectionately known as Stella Bella Beags! 💕🐾

This sweet girl has come an incredibly long way in a short amount of time. When Stella first arrived at the Beagle Inn, she was extremely fearful and unsure of people. Today, she is making wonderful strides in learning that humans can be trusted. She now approaches her foster for pets and affection, and even more heartwarming—when the petting stops, Stella often stays close, asking for more. These moments are huge victories for a dog who has worked so hard to overcome her fears.

Stella is excellent with other dogs and does well with cats. She absolutely thrives with canine companionship and loves to play and cuddle with her dog friends. Food is another favorite thing, and we continue to build her confidence and trust through tasty snacks and positive experiences.

Since joining her foster home, Stella has experienced many firsts, including her recent bath, which she handled remarkably well. She continues to gain confidence every day.

Stella does have a history of being a flight risk. Recently, she spent two weeks on the run, and because of that experience, her future family must be committed to strict safety precautions. She currently wears a no-slip harness that will go home with her at adoption. While she has made tremendous progress, she will likely always need careful management to keep her safe.

Stella’s home must include:
🐶 At least 1–2 friendly, well-adjusted dogs
🏡 A securely fenced yard
💛 Patient, understanding adult humans who will let her continue progressing at her own pace

Every day, Stella shows us a little more of the wonderful dog she’s becoming. With the right family, continued patience, and canine role models by her side, Stella Bella Beags is sure to keep blossoming into an amazing companion.
