Luther is a 1 year old hound mix weighin in at 39lbs. He has so much love to give, and he’s looking for the perfect family to love him back.

He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, crate trained, potty trained, and he’s learning basic obedience commands like “Sit.” He’s good with adults, children, and other dogs. He has not been tested with cats. He also rides well in a car!

Luther is a sweet and happy boy. He’s gentle, quiet, and sleeps through the night in his crate. He is a lap dog and a cuddler. This guy wants to be as close to his people as humanly possible. He’s playful and energetic and enjoys a good walk. He is, however, reactive to critter when he sees them on his adventures.

Luther loves the outdoors and has a genuine curiosity about everything he sees. He loves a good stuffed bone/kong/enrichment toy. He also loves playing with toys. If he goes for a household item like a blanket, he can easily be redirected.

Luther would do best in a home with a fenced yard so he is able to explore the outdoors in a safe way. He’s a young guy and still has puppy energy, so a home that understands and prioritizes his growth and development is a huge plus.
