Meet Hank! He’s a basset/lab mix and he’s a little over a year old. He’s affectionate, people-oriented, and happy to be wherever his person is.
He does well with other dogs of all sizes, but may require a slow introduction if there are multiple large dogs. He prefers friendly, confident dogs that will play and rough house with him, but becomes irritated with dogs that are too pushy or dominant.
He has a moderate energy level and would make a great adventure dog. He loves to be running around outside or wrestling inside with his foster siblings.
He can get into things he’s not supposed to (trash/shoes/laundry) if he gets bored, but will settle and lay down with the right toy or if he’s getting lovings. By the way, Hank LOVES toys and carries his stuffed babies around with him.
Hank is kennnel and crate trained, good about going potty outside, rides well in the car, and is progressively getting better with leash walking. He’s also doing great with potty training.
He still has a very puppy outlook on life, so he’s still learning, but he is a very smart boy and he picks things up quickly.
