Our Goal to Enrich Their Story
At All Hound Rescue of Florida, our hearts beat a little extra for our Sunset Residents—those precious souls who, due to age or illness, may not find a traditional forever home. Through our program, we match these hounds with loving foster families where they can live out their days surrounded by warmth, comfort, and companionship.
Thanks to generous donations, we cover all expenses, including veterinary visits, medication, and nutritious food, ensuring that these hounds receive the best care possible. Our goal is simple: to give every hound a chance to experience joy, love, and a sense of normalcy.
By supporting our Sunset Residents program, you’re not just providing for their needs—you’re helping to create a beautiful chapter in their lives filled with love and dignity.

No matter what life has brought their way, these two have remained side by side with an unbreakable bond. Thanks to All Hound Rescue in Florida, they now have a safe and loving foster home where they can enjoy their golden years together.
Even at his age, Bruiser’s spirit is bright. He loves simple comforts like cozy naps, gentle belly rubs, and having his brother nearby. With the love and medical care he is receiving, each day is filled with warmth, safety, and the happiness he deserves.

Walter’s journey has finally led him to the life he was meant to have, full of love, comfort, and security. Thanks to All Hound Rescue in Florida, he found his forever home through a foster family who understood his needs and gave him the patience and stability to grow.
Walter began as an anxious boy who needed a calm home, but he has blossomed into a confident and happy companion. He now spends his days sunbathing, playing with his favorite toys, enjoying car rides, and snuggling in bed without worry. With his new family, he can relax and enjoy every moment.
As a Sunset Resident, Walter now has a safe place to call his own and a family who cherishes him every day. His story is a reminder that every hound deserves the right home, the right people, and the right love.

Say hello to Stella. She is a four year old bloodhound who came into our care after being dumped on a chicken farm by a breeder along with three other bloodhounds. The breeder intended to kill them, but all four were rescued in time.
Stella was the last one picked up, and her past has left her extremely anxious and unsure of the world. She prefers quiet, familiar spaces and often struggles with situations outside her comfort zone.
Her greatest source of comfort is her basset brother Henry Pickles, who helps her feel safe and supported. With patience and love, Stella continues to slowly learn that she is finally safe.

Meet Maggie, All Hound Rescue’s very first Legacy Foster. This sweet Beagle came to us from a severe hoarding case in Tallahassee, arriving thin, timid, and in need of gentle care. With time, love, and safety, Maggie reached a healthy weight and her true personality began to shine.
Maggie has seizures and requires daily medication to keep them under control. Because of her medical needs, our board made the decision to keep her as a Legacy Foster, ensuring she will always receive the care, stability, and support she deserves.
Maggie is a reminder of how love and patience can transform a life.

Meet Max, our gentle giant and resident teddy bear. He is a 6-year-old liver and tan Bloodhound with a sweet, calm personality that wins everyone over. In his younger years, Max was kicked by a horse, and as he has aged, he has developed mobility issues in his back end.
Max is also suspected of having GOLPP, a progressive nerve condition that affects older large-breed dogs. Because he needs monthly injections and ongoing medical support to stay comfortable, Max is one of our special Legacy Fosters.
Despite his challenges, Max remains a loving, gentle soul who enjoys every moment of care and comfort he receives. He is a beautiful reminder of resilience and the importance of giving senior hounds the soft landing they deserve.
