Meet Miss Maggie! She’s a basset mix who is estimated to be between 5 and 6 years old. She is currently looking for a wonderful new family to call her own.

She’s mahogany and black, with a sparkling personality and a love for people. Maggie likes dogs, but she loves people. She’s currently in a foster home with multiple dogs and she gets along fine with them, but doesn’t often seek out playtime. She seems to enjoy people, and children a great deal.

Maggie is house-trained, and doesn’t use a crate when left alone. On the hound noise spectrum, she’s probably a 1 or 2. She’s pretty quiet and doesn’t really bark. She did express her best howl during a group “Happy Birthday” sing along, though.

Maggie is a people-dog and will be your shadow. Where you are, she will not be far behind. She’s a beautiful little barnacle and would make an incredible companion in a home with or without other dogs. She’d also be great in a home with someone who is around often.

If Maggie sounds like the perfect girl for you, please fill out an adoption questionnaire below to find out more.
