Say hello to Lou Lou. She’s a sweet, petite red & white basset hound and she’s using her nose to sniff out he perfect family. Lou Lou weighs in at around 36lbs so she’s perfectly portable. This girl has the best temperament. Even at the vet’s office she’s relaxed and ready to soak up the attention from the staff. She’s great with children, adults, other dogs, and cats. Because Lou Lou was a stray, we’re not 100% sure on her age, but we put her at somewhere between 1-2yrs. Right now she’s working on her potty training and she’s doing great! She has other dogs to learn from and does with them when they go out. She’s also started going to the door when she needs to potty. She currently isn’t being crated at her foster home. She sleeps in a dog bed in their room and when she’s left unattended she is gated in her own area. Lou Lou has shown no resource guarding issues with people, food, or objects. She loves toys! One of her favorite things to do is remove each toy from the bin and toss it into the air then have a nice nap. She’s also incredible affectionate and just wanted to be around her humans. Lou Lou would be great in a home with or without other dogs, but she does learn and gain confidence from having other dogs around. She’s a pack dog and seems to thrive on companionship.
