This is Pluto Potato. He’s around 7 years old and he’s a big sweet basset hound mix. He weighs in at around 75lbs, so we assume he’s mixed with a large breed, but maintains his floppy ears and short legs.
Pluto is neutered, Heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines. He came to us through a county shelter where he was a stray who was brought after being struck by a car. Right now, Pluto is with a foster family while he recovers and works on decompressing.
What we do know about Pluto is that he loves people. We were told by former owners that he can become overwhelmed in high-energy situations with other dogs or children so he’d likely be best in a calm home with dogs who are also calm, or older children who understand how to respect animals.
