Weight: 35 lbs.

Health: Not yet medically cleared

Daisy is a six-year-old Basset Hound who’s been through quite a bit of change lately. She came to us from a family who had adopted her just a month earlier but decided she wasn’t a good fit with their energetic dog. Before that, she was rehomed by another family, so her history is limited — but we’re helping her start a new, brighter chapter.

Right now, Daisy is feeling a little confused, but she’s finding comfort in her soft pink blanket and absolutely loves belly rubs. She’s been very sweet with all the people she’s met so far, though she can be a bit unsure when new dogs approach her.

Daisy isn’t medically cleared just yet, so she’s not available for adoption at this time. She’s currently staying with a loving foster family where she’s finally getting the peace and comfort she deserves.

More news to come.
