Say hello to this handsome hound, Buford! He’s a 2 year old, tri-color basset hound with a big ol’ noggin, and a heart just as big to match. He came to us from an overwhelmed family who thought it best he be with someone who could give him more time.
He’s good with people, children, dogs and cats. He’s not yet fully potty trained, but he’s working on it. Buford is crate trained and rides well in a car.
Right now Buford is neutered, but still waiting on vaccines and a wellness check. He is not medically clear at this time, thus not currently adoptable.
His ideal home would be one who understands and accepts that he is not fully house trained and will be there to see him through it. We will update his profile with his needs after we’ve been able to observe him for a longer period of time.
