Meet Bruno, a sweet 2-year-old tri-color Basset Hound who is finally getting the chance to just be a dog. He came to our rescue from a shelter after being used as a breeding stud, and now his life is focused on love, care, and a fresh start.
Bruno is on the smaller side at around 40 pounds and has a gentle, friendly personality. He enjoys playing with toys, making friends, and does well with children, dogs, and cats.
As of 12/12/25, Bruno is heartworm positive, but he will receive treatment while in our care. He’s patiently waiting to be medically cleared so he can find his forever family.
