Meet Abuela. She came to us as an emergency rescue from Puerto Rico where she was found lying on a beach, left for dead.
We were able to get her here and she’s currently being fostered by a wonderful family who are making her feel warm, safe and comfortable.
What we do know about Abuela is that she’s a fighter. She’s sweet, sassy, and has been given a second chance in her golden years that she isn’t taking for granted.
Right now Abuela isn’t available for adoption. She’s still seeing doctors and we’re figuring out what her health situation is, but we will continue to update her status when things change.
