Stubbs is one of four adorable bloodhound puppies who arrived at our rescue together. This little group was born at the end of June, and at just a few months old, Stubbs is already stealing hearts with his gentle nature and puppy charm.

Stubbs is a sweet boy with all the bouncy energy you’d expect from a young pup. He’s currently being fostered in a home with both dogs and children, where he’s learning important skills like sharing space, building confidence, and socializing in a safe, structured environment. His short little tail inspired his name, and it’s just one of the many things that make him extra special.

Because he’s still so young, Stubbs has a little way to go before he’s medically cleared. He’s in the process of completing his vaccinations and will need to be neutered before he can officially start the search for his forever family. In the meantime, he’s enjoying plenty of love, attention, and playtime in foster care, giving him the foundation he needs to grow into a well-rounded adult bloodhound.

Stubbs has a bright future ahead, and while he’s not available for adoption just yet, we’re excited to watch him continue to grow, learn, and thrive until the day comes when he’s ready for his forever home.
